Parasun Technologies, Inc. requires a talented Project Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful delivery of application systems internally and to our partners. Responsibilities

- Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Identifies required resources and co-ordinates individual responsibilities with Software Engineering Manager.

- Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client or department.
- Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards.

Project Accounting

- Tracks and reports team hours on a weekly basis.

Technical Understanding

Qualifications:

- A post secondary degree in Computer Science (or an Engineering degree) is desired or the equivalent Systems or Engineering experience demonstrated by progressive responsibilities into a project management role.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset.
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive project management experience managing cross-functional project teams.
- Demonstrated experience with and understanding of the telecommunications or Broadband industry considered a strong asset.
- Understanding and experience with project management methodologies, especially in Agile development environments.
- Excellent understanding of Systems and Processes in Information Technology and Systems Delivery Life Cycle.
- Candidates with previous exposure to systems for Client Operations preferred
- Good knowledge of the Internet business, Call Centre management, network management provisioning and telephony.
- Experience in defining and implementing production support processes across multiple teams.
- Experience with managing and facilitating 3rd party vendor relationships.
- Strong budgeting and planning experience.

He or she will design test cases and will be responsible for the execution and delivery of those cases in a timely and well-documented manner.


Essential Functions

- Communicate clearly with managers and other team members
- Perform duties in a timely, professional manner
- Create and execute test cases
- Provide well-documented feedback to the Software Engineering group
- Co-ordinate and mentor other QA Engineers
- Oversee start-to-finish QA process
