Честно говоря, руки опускаются!
Мы недавно приехали (5 месяцев) - я с женой и дочкой.Мне уже 33.
Общаться особо нескем,так как за все время не слышали ни одного русского слова.
Живем в Langley,и честно говоря я случайно нашел Ваш форум - никогда бы не подумал,что удастся в конце-концов пообщаться с НАШИМИ.
Приехали мы Израиля,где у нас все было,в принципе нормально.
После института (я закончил Львовский, ордена Ленина Политех,кафедру ЭВМ - диплом бакалавра и квалификация инженера системотехника) мы приехали в Израиль.Там я начав с оператора CNC,за 6 лет дошел дошел до Project Manager.Работал в Cimagrafi и AlphaCam,работая,в основном, с пластиком (routing sheet material).Не особо по специальности,но мне нравилось.
Тут и виза в Канаду подоспела (уезжали мы тяжело-жутко нехотелось)
По приезде,удалось по быстрому найти работу (клепаю поддоны у одного серба за 12/hr).Но время идет и резюме уже разослал,где только можна,но все глухо.Да и жена каждый день в дипрессии.
Сижу в интернете каждый день.Вроде-бы нужны CNC-шники то тут то там но все пока глухо.
Я понимаю,что необходимо проявлять терпение и настойчивость,но сколько можна!!!Блин!!

ну не вы первый не вы последний.... иммиграция это почти как развод, первый раз тяжело потом привыкаешь...
Я не специалист в СНС, но резуме твое надо переделывать полностью. Начиная с обжектив и далее по списку. Есть бесплатные курсы для проффесионалс, у меня жена ходила если что могу узнать... там все делают и они оплаичваются говерментом

topandr, пока ждёте критических откликов на Ваше резюме, советую здесь в поиске набрать что-нить типа "резюме", и в результатах поиска обратить внимание на темы с просьбами "попинать" резюме. Многие рекомендании, что были там неоднократно даны, применимы ко всем резюме, вне зависимости от специализации. У Вас будет больше информации.

Попоробую курсы ,конечно.Но из-за нехватки времени никак не получается (работаю на аннасис айленде - пол дня туда пол-дня обратно).Может как-нибудь общим собранием скорректируем - за мной не заржавеет!

Я - еще один неспециалист в СНС, но скажу что надо делать как минимум два резюме. Одно - оператор этого самого СНС или КАДа (выкинуть всякое упоминание о творчестве и руководстве и напирать на большой практический опыт: помощник оператора-младший оператор-оператор-старший оператор-супервайзор смены операторов), а второе - инженерное.
Судя по объявам для операторских работ резюме очевидно слишкои заумное.

Резюме однозначно надо переделать, слишком много лишнего. Даже если взять языки, то French - это просто здорово, но зачем там указывать остальные! Или где сдавал на сертификат. Кому какая разница, сдал же.

Загляни в Chapters, там есть примеры как должно быть оформлено резюме. То которое больше всех понравится, то и используй. А само резюме нарой в Инете.

Причем размер каждого - 1 страница. Сам удивишься, как все складненько выйдет.
По рабочей д.б.понятно, что 8 классов ты кончил, не больше. Потом пахал.
на техника - что опыт большой, но мозгов и инициативы не хватает.
на инженера все, что тянет на ленинскую стипендию. Т.е.родился в шелках, разговариваешь только с умными людьми.

От этих крайних вариантов уже плясать дальше.

Резюме действительно заумное (в смысле, что много всего и в куче). я думаю, у тех, кто его читает, комплекс неполноценности сразу же образуется
