Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities:

Coding and unit testing Java programs in a J2EE and DB2 environment. You will use external/functional designs and internal/technical

designs as the specifications for the coding.

Positions are based in the Lower Mainland but a willingness to travel throughout North America is required for future assignments.


Qualifications:

* Strong English communication skills.
* Experience with .Net and com is desirable but not mandatory.
* Java
Four or more years of experience in Java. DB2/SQL
* Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD)
Knowledge and some experience of working with DB2 and SQL, including hands-on development of SQL using JDBC.
Knowledge of object-oriented development, ideally with a model-driven approach using UML.
* XML
Preferably, knowledge of Rational Rose.
* J2EE
Working knowledge of XML.
* Unit Testing
Awareness of JSPs/Struts/J2EE web container. Preferably, knowledge of a full J2EE application server or web/servlet container
engine, such as Tomcat. Preferably, knowledge of Java IDE. Experience developing and executing unit test plans.

В принципе у них сейчас тенденция набирать на фултайм, но за спрос денег не берут. Я на контракте, еще два перца только что перешли на контракт с фултайма.
