Details:

We require a fulltime senior level Database Architect and Developer who
has a broad technical skillset and ideally has high level design
experience with SQL Server and/or MySQL. This is a great opportunity to
join a well-funded and growing company and to take a leadership role in
building their database systems from scratch.

The database architect will architect, design and build a database for
the purpose of video content management. They will need to build
authentication for users and/or devices and the system will need to
interface with OSS and BSS systems typically used by telecom and cable
tv providers. The database will need to integrate with their billing
systems as well so the role requires someone who has significant
experience building interfaces and integrating systems.

Requirements:

-M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field and strong
background in databases is required and database certification is highly
desirable
-At least 5-7 years of database design and development experience of
large-scale systems
-Systems integration experience and experience with building interfaces
between systems.
-Billing systems integration experience is nice to have.
-MS SQL Server and/or MySQL experience preferred; Oracle is nice to have
-Strong understanding of SQL programming
-User and Device Authentication experience
-Content management experience
-Knowledge of video content management very desirable
-Knowledge of video streaming is very desirable
-Must be a self-starter who is highly organized, learns quickly, and is
a team player
