Vancouver-based Blast Radius, an interactive marketing firm, has been bought by WPP, a huge international company with more than 100,000 employees.

Blast Radius, with 350 employees and offices in Vancouver New York, Toronto, San Francisco, Amsterdam and London, will operate within WPP's Wunderman network. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Blast Radius reported 2006 revenues of $41.8 million Cdn, with gross assets of $20.5 million Cdn. WPP reported revenues of $11.7 billion Cdn in 2006.
