JOB DESCRIPTION
This position will be a systems administrator on a team responsible for administering a large Windows Domain. The candidate will
work closely with the Product Group and provide leadership, analysis, and
design considerations related to development, implementation, and planning of Windows infrastructure technology. The
candidate will provide training and technical support to support staff. Monitor
server platforms to achieve optimum performance levels and make preventative
adjustments as necessary. Provides in-depth diagnosis for operational systems
software/hardware failures and develops solutions. Install server related
hardware and software. Create and maintain documentation on the server
environment. Determines strategies and standards and provides capacity
planning. Work within a team to manage and support a complex Windows environment and projects.
Evaluate customer requirements, constraints and develop optimal architecture
design. Provide hands-on configuration and validation of design, as well as
production deployment and migration. The candidate must be able to document
design, configure and produce project results.

SKILLS /EXPERIENCE NECESSARY:
Strong Analysis and Communication Skills as well as the ability to resolve
complex technical problems
Large Datacenter management experience (100+ servers)
Server hardware experience including x86/x64 blade server
technology
Expert Knowledge of Windows XP, 2000, 2003
Knowledge of Active Directory Design and Implementation
Strong SAN and NAS Experience
Strong Windows Clustering
Experience
Strong Security (rights, privileges, accounts) and hardening (upgrades,
patches, registry) techniques
Specialized services including IIS, MS Clustering, WINS, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP,
Proxy
Microsoft Windows Scripting
Technologies
Understanding of Networking and Security Technologies\
Server Monitoring Tools
SKILLS /EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Microsoft 2008 Server, Windows Vista
AIX/Solaris/HP-UX Hardware knowledge
Virtualization Platforms: VMWare Product line
Citrix Experience (a plus)
