Blast Radius is looking for a flexible developer willing to work with a mix of technologies to build compelling XML authoring applications. You will be part of a dynamic development team that strives to challenge the boundaries of today's technology.
RESPONSIBILITIES /
Develop concise, well-documented Java code.
Be thoroughly knowledgeable of object-oriented design and development.
Produce design and analysis documentation, preferably experience with UML.
Identify and recommend improvements to the core technologies of Blast Radius.
Ensure that recommendations are implemented properly.
Act as company advocate and embody the Blast Radius values: people, passion, creativity, fun and excellence.
Diffuse problems and put forward solutions that are in the best interest of the company and employees.
Participate in ongoing special projects in support of Blast Radius' environment and strategic plans.
Participate in Blast Radius internal events such as social events, workshops etc.
Such duties that may be reasonably required by the Company.
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE /
5+ years of experience in Software development
Computer Science or Engineering Degree
Experience programming with Java, and XML using DOM or SAX parser
Experience with client server architectures
Multi threaded software systems, server development in particular
Experience working in team environment
