Specific Responsibilities:
Development of ASP and .NET based web applications for our proprietary information management system;
Development of associated stored procedures using Oracle PL/SQL;
Participate in the design, development, documentation and testing activities within the development environment;
Provide internal and client end-user support and troubleshooting;
Assist in the definition of user requirements and develop specifications for new system modules;
Maintain and enhance existing in-house VisualBasic and C# applications;
Other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Experience in the development of web apps using ASP and .NET technologies in a MS environment;
Strong Object Oriented development skills;
Experience programming in an Oracle database environment using PL/SQL;
Knowledge of Microsoft IIS;
A thorough understanding of XML and XSL;
Knowledge of code management systems and version control;
An ability to work on multiple projects in a multi-tasking, high pressure environment;
Superior communication and technical writing skills;
Good interpersonal skills and experience working in a team environment;
Professional experience working with laboratory information management systems preferred.

Required Qualifications:
The successful applicant will have experience with ASP and .NET
Bachelor’s Degree or Technical School Diploma and/or 2 – 3 years of related professional exp.
