Bachelor's degree in Elect Engineering, IT, Telecommunications or any other related technical degree with approximately 6 months to 1 year of related experience. Pursuing Masters degree in a technical field.



Technical Skills

· Computer Applications: MS Office.

· Operating System: Win 7/ VISTA/XP/Me/2000/9X, Linux

· Design Tool: Pspice, Mentor Graphics, Mat lab, multisim, Quartus

· Programming: C, C++

· Assembly Level Programming - 8085 & 8086.

· Project management experience( scope not as important as demonstrated experience in project management)

On behalf of our private sector client, Procom is seeking an Intermediate Optical Software Engineer to assist in developing a software training package for its optical transport product line. The successful candidate will work with a team of skilled software engineers to deliver materials describing the architecture, framework, and development of our client’s embedded multi-threaded software systems.

You will be responsible for learning the Optical product and specifically the software architecture and development environment in intimate detail. You will work with in the development team to develop training information, sample projects and software case-studies.

Mandatory Skills:



Solid foundation in object-oriented design and programming in Java and C/C++/STL for embedded environments.



Required Qualifications:

· Solid foundation in object-oriented design and programming in Java and C/C++/STL for embedded environments.

· Linux/QNX operating system knowledge

· Experience with software development on shelf, card, and mult-entity management applications

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills



Education:


Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related degree
