Position: Tester - ESRI

Location: Toronto

Duration: 1 year

Job Description:

Testers:

•Create and execute test cases based on the system requirements specifications to
ensure proper operation and the absence of defects

•Provide testing expertise

•Create and/or analyse test data to support testing strategies

•Record test results

•Record defects and retest resolutions

•Communicate accurate testing information and regular status updates to the test
manager

Experience Requirements:

§Four years experience in planning, organizing and implementing testing efforts

§Knowledge of structured methodologies for the development, design, implementation
and maintenance of applications

§Knowledge and experience in the use of automated test tools and version control
systems on one or more platforms

§Knowledge and experience in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle

§Knowledge and understanding of testing methods

§Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; organizational,
creativity and perseverance skills; verbal and written communication skills; and
interpersonal skills

§The user acceptance team requires at least one tester to possess a solid
understanding of the ESRI suite including: ArcGIS, ArcInfo, ArcEditor, ArcView,
ArcIMS, ArcSDE, FME
