About the Role

Under the general direction of our Software Development Manager and in close collaboration with a cross functional team, the Web Application Developer is involved with the development, maintenance and operation of web based applications and components.



Key Responsibilities:

Drive, design, develop, deploy and maintain our SaaS software products

Drive, design, develop, deploy and maintain our web server and web client components.

Work as a team with other Developers and Web technician to upkeep all web related information technology and software.

Assist Web Technician in troubleshooting and resolving problems related to our website, applications and all other web components.

Qualifications and Experience:

A minimum bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields.

Expertise developing web based applications using:

ASP.NET, HTML5, CSS, Javascript and JQuery

MSSQL, MySQL, JSON and/or Mongo DB

WCF Services, REST and SOAP APIs

Experience with other Web development technologies:

Flash, PHP, Silverlight, Google API, etc.

Experience with:

Ecommerce, shopping cart and payment systems

CMS sites such as WordPress, Drupal and/or Joomla
Working knowledge of OO principles, UML diagrams, UI design and software life cycle tools

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

Self-motivated and driven to be successful in the work place and in life.

Communicate well with product management and other stakeholders with diverse backgrounds.

Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.

Good interpersonal skills.

Interested in keeping up-to-date with web technology.

Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed, in order to avoid disrupting use of websites during business hours.
