ищу любую инфу касающуюся работы Biomedical Engineer или по нашему спец по ремонту МЕДИЦИНСКОГО ОБОРУДОВАНИЯ.
Буду рад любой информации по данной теме: насколько реально найти что-то без местной учёбы или как мне свои русские бумажки подтвердить....а,то в BCIT целых 2 года это дело занимает.

Biomedical engineers develop devices and procedures that solve medical and health-related problems by combining their knowledge of biology and medicine with engineering principles and practices. Many do research, along with life scientists, chemists, and medical scientists, to develop and evaluate systems and products such as artificial organs, prostheses (artificial devices that replace missing body parts), instrumentation, medical information systems, and health management and care delivery systems. (See biological scientists, medical scientists, and chemists and materials scientists elsewhere in the Handbook.) Biomedical engineers may also design devices used in various medical procedures, imaging systems such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and devices for automating insulin injections or controlling body functions. Most engineers in this specialty need a sound background in another engineering specialty, such as mechanical or electronics engineering, in addition to specialized biomedical training. ... дык, открой любую позицию по этой работе, почитай requirements ... если требуют сдачу экзамена, то уже напрямую узнавай нужна ли соответствующая местная учеба, или можно сразу сдавать ... если все заешь что там перечислено, правь резюме и вперед ... ни разу нигде диплом не просили показывать, можно было везде писать стенфорд или масачусетский институт оф технолоджи ...Luu писал(а):ну.....и...????

Ищите позицию electronic technician в фирмах, связанных с продажей или обслуживанием медицинской техники.
Если опыт работы есть, то местное образование как-то "фиолетово", гораздо важнее тренинги на фирмах-изготовителях (желательно известных) и канадский опыт, связанный хоть каким-то боком с медучреждениями или сервисом оборудования. Без этого на крупных фирмах не берут, даже если очень квалифицирован.
В резюме старайтесь подчеркнуть узкую специализацию (лаборатория, стоматология, специальная диагностика и т.п.). Начинайте с маленьких фирм, они практически не вывешивают объявлений, но зато более толерантны и можно договориться для начала на парт-тайм. Полгода околоспециализированной работы и после этого можно искать ваше родное. И отношение, и условия будут совсем другие.

А `если серьёзно, то мне лучше знать, что должен и что не должен делать биомед в госпитале. Не его ума дело дивайсы девелопить. Главное чтобы всё крутилось в смысле работало и персонал не напрягало.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Biomedical Engineering Technologist performs duties related to the testing, repair, procurement and maintenance of a wide variety of biomedical and electronic equipment within the Fraser Health.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tests, calibrates, identifies faults, and repairs a variety of biomedical and electronic equipment such as respirators, heart-lung perfusion equipment, defibrillators, monitors and radiology equipment, in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, guidelines and standards.
Performs preventative maintenance routines, inspections and evaluations of biomedical and electronic equipment, in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, guidelines and standards.
Instructs clinical, paramedical and technical staff regarding the safety, operation and maintenance of biomedical and electronic equipment.
Evaluates biomedical and electronic equipment for technical acceptance and safety prior to selection. Monitors the installation of equipment to ensure conformance with specifications. Determines tool, instrumentation and spare part requirements, and orders as required.
Maintains required documentation, including information related to inventory, service, and equipment performance.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
