Business Purpose:
This position is responsible for working with members of “MIO” development team in designing and developing .NET framework based applications.
Responsibilities:

• Design and develop complex web and smart-client applications leveraging current and emerging technologies; show proof of concept when necessary.
• Design and develop Web Services applications in accordance to design specifications and WS-* standards.
• Design and develop ASP.Net Web form and Win form applications using C#.
• Implement SQL Server database applications that support the requirements defined by business users and analysts. Design and develop stored procedures and functions using Transact-SQL.
• Deliver assignments according to a schedule.
• Analyze applications and make necessary changes to optimize performance.
• Participate in design reviews and code reviews.
• Assist Test and Production Support teams with installation of the application
• Background in building Platforms for reuse.

Qualifications/Skills set:

• Four year college degree and minimum five years of related work experience.
• Hands-on experience in delivering highly scalable and robust web service applications using C#/ASP/ASP.NET.
• Experience working with relational database management systems and client-server technologies.
• Good verbal communication skills required.
• Sound problem resolution, judgment, negotiating and decision making skills required.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated experience with a Software Development Life Cycle Methodology
• Demonstrated experience with good software development practices on medium to large projects.
• Working knowledge of C++, VB, VB.NET would be a definite plus.
