This full-time position will report to the Director of Technology.


MUST HAVES:

· 5 years experience in COM / DCOM / COM+ Component Services environment in a Client / Server Transaction Processing environment

· 5 years experience with SQL Server (Development of SP/UDF’s tables, views and index scripts)

· .NET experience

· Visual Basic/Visual Studio

· 3 years as a technical team lead or 3 years as a people manager/supervisor

· Ability to travel three consecutive months (once every 18-24 months; we will fly you back home to Toronto every other weekend)

· Proven experience working on projects using excellent problem-solving and team collaboration skills





NICE TO HAVES:

· ASP IIS/VB Script, and XML

· Work experience in a LIFE insurance company

· Strong knowledge of project methodologies and practices





COMPENSATION:

· Additional pay for every hour worked beyond 37.5 per week (according to Company policy)
