Part-time Equipment Coordinator

We are currently recruiting to fill the position of a part time Equipment Coordinator to work approx. 20 hours per week (8:00am - 12:00pm).
The successful candidate will be responsible for the movement, replenishment, expediting and managing of equipment. Manages supply and control of containers, reefers and gensets. Ensures the availability of equipment for service areas. Reviews inventory levels and monitors overdue equipment from assigned geographic region. Monitors the flow of equipment to locations in order to maintain the replenishment process and prevent depletion of equipment inventory.
Requirements:
This position is well suited for individuals who strive at customer service within a dynamic team. Skills in written and oral communication, familiarity with AS400 is desirable but not required, knowledge of computer applications is a must. We are currently recruiting to fill the position of a part time AR Cash Applications to work approx. 20 hours per week (1:00am - 5:00pm) for a 1-2 month contract.
The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate administration of accounts receivable and reporting of outstanding accounts, researches customer payments, handles tracking and resolving functions for lost or misapplied payments, and received payments guarantees.

Temporary, Part time Bookkeeper needed

Background
Burnaby Information & Community Services Society (BICSS) is a non- profit organization committed to facilitating the connection of people and services and coordinating community needs driven programs. BICSS provides information and referral services, coordinates the Burnaby Christmas and Camping Bureaus, coordinates Seniors▓ Transportation, verifies applications for Parks & Rec Credits. BICSS also assists with the management of Burnaby Meals on Wheels, a separate non-profit agency.

BICSS is seeking a temporary Bookkeeper for the Burnaby Christmas Bureau program, who is responsible for general bookkeeping duties and will assist in with donation processing and tax receipting.

Responsibilities:
The Bookkeeper is responsible for:
Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
Preparing and recording deposits
Administering petty cash according to established procedures
Assisting with month end duties and financial reports as required
Assisting with payroll, benefits and other human resource issues
Issue and record tax receipts in accordance with CRA regulations
Assist with related administrative tasks as required.

It is critical that this position integrate with all other Christmas Bureau Functions seamlessly throughout the entire Christmas Bureau process. Communication and organization is key.

Skills and Qualifications Required:
1. Holds a business related diploma, majoring in Accounting or Finance.
2. Two √ four years of related work experience, preferably in a non-profit setting
3. Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Quickbooks
4. Exceptional communication, team work, and organization skills
5. Sound judgment, initiative and strong interpersonal skills
6. Strong computer skills and IT experience
7. Experience in an office setting and working with general office equipment.
8. Must be a quick learner and be able to adapt to different situations
9. Demonstrated high personal integrity, tact, and discretion.


Position: Temporary, Part time, 21 hours/week

Salary: $15/hr
