Warren Buffett: housing bad!
At the annual meeting of Berkshire Hathaway, Warren Buffett had some words about housing:
"What we see in our residential brokerage business [HomeServices of America, the nation's second-largest realtor] is a slowdown everyplace, most dramatically in the formerly hottest markets. [Buffett singled out Dade and Broward counties in Florida as an area that has experienced a rise in unsold inventory and a stagnation in price.] The day traders of the Internet moved into trading condos, and that kind a speculation can produce a market that can move in a big way. You can get real discontinuities. We've had a real bubble to some degree. I would be surprised if there aren't some significant downward adjustments, especially in the higher end of the housing market."

We saw 305 new listings today, and 132 sales, for another softening in the sell/list - 43.28% That's the second day in a row under 50%, and that hasn't happened since I begand keeping the chart.

аха, типа, вчера был дождь, сегодня дождь... Завтра точно будет дождь
... дык, весенняя корректировка цен с последующей стабилизацией ... наверняка что-то припадет что было заряжено по самые уши, а до бури еще как до луны, в нормальном location и по не максимально заряженной цене все улетает как пирожки, только с риелтером разговаривал в субботу ...
In Vancouver, not being a real estate 'believer' is just not socially acceptable. Friends, family, and co-workers look at you like you just farted if you express non-belief. It's like having some bizarre political, religious, or sexual belief. It's worse actually - those other things won't lose them hundreds of thousand of dollars if your beliefs come to fruition.
В нашей деревне Миссион не заметил замедления продаж. Скорее наборот, улетает еще быстрее чем в прошлом году в это-же время. Раньше обьявления по 2 недели висели.
Сейчас примерно неделя и меньше. Проехал по городу - почти
ничего уже не продается - все продано.
